The District Pharmacy Coordinator (DPC) supports effective scheduling and day-to-day operations of pharmacies across a market. The role ensures pharmacist schedules are created and published on time, coverage and contingency plans are maintained, and outside immunization clinics are scheduled and staffed. The DPC also administers market pharmacists’ timekeeping and submits payroll accurately and on time. As a key support to the Pharmacy District Leader (Rx DL), the coordinator may execute base changes, track vacation requests and pay-code balances, and perform other administrative activities that support compliant and effective pharmacy operations. This is described as a non-exempt, 30-hour-per-week role. The DPC may choose to work up to 10 additional hours per week as a Technician in a local CVS pharmacy. The posting also lists 40 anticipated weekly hours and identifies the position as full time. The role requires regular and predictable attendance and may require a flexible work schedule to accommodate business needs. Pharmacy Technician licensure or certification must be obtained within 90 days in the role unless the Board of Pharmacy requires otherwise. The position includes physical tasks such as keyboard data entry, remaining upright for extended periods, handling and placing items, and occasionally lifting up to 20–40 pounds.
