About The Position

The District Manager oversees daily route operations, delivery performance, customer service, and service team members to ensure efficient, high-quality service. The position reports directly to the Service Manager. Salary is $60,000 per year, plus quarterly and annual bonuses. The role involves overseeing delivery and service routes, managing schedules and territory coverage, leading route drivers and service team members, addressing escalated customer concerns, and enforcing safety policies, applicable DOT regulations, and operational procedures. The work includes operating vehicles on public roads, visiting customer locations and industrial laundry facilities, service centers, or depots, and traveling frequently within the branch area to customer sites.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in route operations, delivery management, transportation, service management, or logistics leadership.
At least 1 year of direct leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
Valid driver's license and a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety, or other violations.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and types of products and to count, add, and subtract accurately.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily execution of delivery and service routes to ensure accurate and efficient customer service.
Manage route schedules, territory coverage, and workload distribution to maximize route productivity.
Lead, coach, and develop route drivers and service team members to drive performance and accountability.
Ensure consistent customer service and respond to escalated customer concerns, service issues, and delivery challenges.
Promote and enforce company safety policies, applicable DOT regulations, and operational procedures.
