About The Position

The Distribution Coordinator works with various warehouse teams to receive, inspect, replenish, and ship surgical instrumentation and implants to healthcare facilities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and inventory accuracy. The role is performed in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution and warehouse environment. It is a full-time position that generally works daytime hours and may require additional hours during the week and on weekends. Specific scheduling requirements will be determined with a Manager or Supervisor. No travel is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivation and ability to achieve desired results independently.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of related distribution or inventory control experience and/or training.
• MS Office skills and general computer operation skills.
• Aptitude for analyzing situations and resolving problems.

Responsibilities

• Package products and materials to ensure contents are adequately protected for shipment.
• Prepare shipping documentation accurately, including addresses, and verify that shipments contain the correct inventory.
• Receive incoming surgical trays, inspect instruments and implants, and restock inventory based on usage.
• Compare part numbers, lot numbers, and other information on packing slips to verify purchase orders and shipping orders.
• Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and other sources to maintain electronic records.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts when necessary.
• Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations and standards, including ISO 13485.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
