About The Position

The Coordinator, Distribution provides support for distribution operations and initiates continuous improvement within the merchandising department. The role supports Distribution, Merchandising, and Deli teams with project reports, initiatives, product rollouts, and distributor-related questions and issues. The coordinator works with the distributor to execute product flow and implement solutions and action plans, using data and reporting systems to identify supply chain solutions. The role also models behaviors that support the company’s purpose-driven strategy and ensures activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with a diverse work team.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and situational analysis skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize based on immediate or long-term category needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s degree with a concentration in retail or business preferred.
• At least one year of retail store, merchandising, or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Distribution team with project reports and initiatives.
• Support the Merchandising and Deli teams with product rollouts and initiatives.
• Provide ticket, telephone, and email support to troubleshoot store-level questions and issues related to the distributor.
• Work with the distributor to execute product flow in support of merchandising and deli initiatives, and implement solutions and action plans to achieve optimum results.
• Use data and reporting systems to research, identify, and create action plans for supply chain solutions.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s purpose-driven strategy, showing people they matter at every turn.
• Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
