About The Position

The Distribution Associate is responsible for learning all aspects of the Tyson Warehousing Group, including Tyson Transportation’s outside transportation and outside warehousing operations. The role works with location support departments—including Maintenance, HR, and Inventory Control—to promote coordinated, efficient production and help meet company commitments. The position also handles administrative support such as maintaining Team Member time cards, calendars, and benefit needs; educating and communicating with Team Members to support morale and productivity; and promoting a safe work environment. The Associate helps the location management team as needed, which may include performing a supervisor’s duties in their absence and taking on other responsibilities as required. During training, the role may involve working various shifts to learn additional parts of the operations.

Requirements

Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a two- or four-year degree program.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Willingness and ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Relevant experience is preferred but not required.
