About The Position

The Display Builder is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining store product displays. The builder creates 20–25 displays per week and works with department managers on display requirements. The position also coordinates with the Inventory Control Specialist on material write-offs and inventory, and creates a monthly calendar outlining plans for all displays to be built. Full-time and part-time positions are available. The minimum base pay is $15.24 per hour, with higher starting pay available based on experience.

Requirements

• One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Additional relevant experience may substitute for required education at a rate of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and proactively adhere to safety regulations and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in woodworking.
• Demonstrated experience in tile setting.
• Demonstrated experience using power tools.
• Demonstrated experience using measuring tools.
• Demonstrated experience using basic tools such as a hammer, nails, T-square, and saw.

Responsibilities

• Design and build store product displays according to direction from the Department Manager in each department.
• Create 20–25 displays per week.
• Work with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain inventory for materials.
• Create a monthly calendar with a plan for all displays to be built.
• Perform duties honestly, ethically, and professionally, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures.
