About The Position

The Display Builder designs, builds, and maintains store product displays in accordance with direction from department managers. The builder is expected to create 20–25 displays per week, work with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain materials inventory, and prepare a monthly calendar outlining planned displays. All duties must be performed honestly, ethically, professionally, and in compliance with applicable company policies and procedures. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Additional relevant experience may substitute for required education at a rate of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.
• Demonstrated ability to comply with and proactively adhere to safety regulations and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in woodworking.
• Demonstrated experience in tile setting.
• Demonstrated experience using power tools.
• Demonstrated experience using measuring tools.
• Demonstrated experience using basic tools such as a hammer, nails, T-square, and saw.

Responsibilities

• Design and build store product displays as directed by the Department Manager in each department.
• Create 20–25 displays per week.
• Work with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain inventory for materials.
• Create a monthly calendar with a plan for all displays to be built.
• Perform duties honestly, ethically, professionally, and in conformance with company policies and procedures.
