About The Position

The Display Builder designs, builds, and maintains store product displays. The role works with department managers to create displays and with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain materials inventory. The builder is expected to create 20–25 displays per week and prepare a monthly calendar outlining the plan for displays to be built. All work must be performed honestly, ethically, professionally, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and proactively adhere to safety regulations and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in woodworking.
• Demonstrated experience in tile setting.
• Demonstrated experience using power tools.
• Demonstrated experience using measuring tools.
• Demonstrated experience using basic tools such as a hammer, nails, T-square, and saw.

Responsibilities

• Design and build store product displays according to direction from each department’s Department Manager.
• Create 20–25 displays per week.
• Work with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain inventory for materials.
• Create a monthly calendar planning all displays to be built.
• Perform duties honestly, ethically, professionally, and in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures.
