About The Position
This position provides expert professional optical care and assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patients’ eye care needs in accordance with prescriptions written by an ophthalmologist or optometrist. The role applies knowledge of basic eye care principles, practices, ethics, and concepts; participates in organizing and managing the practitioner’s practice; and maintains positive relationships with patients, family members, visitors, and fellow employees. PIH Health is a nonprofit regional healthcare network serving approximately 3 million residents in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the San Gabriel Valley. Its integrated network includes three hospitals, 37 outpatient medical office buildings, a multispecialty physician group, home healthcare and hospice services, and a range of specialty and urgent and emergency care services.
