About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. The role requires product knowledge and excellent customer service. Its primary function is to facilitate purchases in accordance with state regulations while providing an exceptional customer experience. The position may include additional team duties as needed, including delivery-associate responsibilities and online-order support. Delivery duties require a valid driver’s license and clear driving record. Online support includes processing orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe. The role works flexible hours based on store needs, up to 40 hours per week, and may require availability after hours based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
Must be at least 21 years old, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at various seniority levels.
Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism when communicating with all levels of management and staff; ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check.
For delivery-driver duties, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and to see and hear, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately.
Ability to function independently and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies, with flexibility and personal integrity.
Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people.
Constantly move throughout the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe and inspect details at varying ranges; and operate computing devices.
Frequently manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, push and pull up to 50 pounds, lift, carry, and position up to 50 pounds, ascend and descend stools, ladders, or steps, and crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Occasionally remain seated.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; flexible hours depending on store needs.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers, and show empathy and compassion to patients.
Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient-service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Assist customers with product or device issues and work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
When assigned delivery duties, follow Trulieve policies and procedures as a delivery associate.
When assigned online support duties, process online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
