About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis experience by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. Associates need sufficient product knowledge to discuss products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function is to facilitate customer purchases in accordance with state regulations and provide an exceptional customer experience. The role is part-time, works up to 25 hours per week, and has flexible hours depending on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position may also require after-hours availability based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
Must be at least 21 years old, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Must have prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at various seniority levels.
Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism when communicating with management and staff.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to communicate with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record to fulfill the delivery driver role.
Must pass a comprehensive background record check.
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, and see and hear or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately.
Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Must be able to work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people.
Must be able to traverse the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe details at varying ranges; and operate computing devices.
Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, push or pull up to 50 pounds, lift/carry/position up to 50 pounds, use stools, ladders, or steps, and crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.

Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Assist customers with product or device issues.
Work with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
When needed as a delivery associate, follow Trulieve policies and procedures and possess a valid driver's license and clear driving record.
When needed as online support, assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
