About The Position

The Dispensary Associate serves as a trusted advisor to medicinal cannabis patients and adult-use customers. The role supports patient acquisition and provides education about cannabis strains, effects, and methods of use so patients and customers can make informed decisions. Associates deliver warm, informed service, record transactions in the point-of-sale system, and work with dispensary managers to keep the dispensary clean and organized. This part-time position is located in Tequesta, Florida, and has a starting pay rate of $16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and systems.

Nice To Haves

• Ganjier Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a “Patients First” environment focused on excellent patient interactions.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to patients with ease and compassion.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with patient information and interactions.
• Multi-task, think critically, and work quickly to resolve problems as they arise.
• Create and execute patient orders based on physician recommendations and accurately deduct the amount from the Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry (OMMUR).
• Keep current with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Educate patients and customers about strains, effects, and methods of cannabis use.
• Record transactions in the POS system.
• Collaborate with dispensary managers to maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment.
