About The Position

A. J. Perri Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, a member of American Residential Services (ARS), is seeking an HVAC Dispatcher to coordinate scheduling and support residential HVAC service technicians. The role focuses on efficient dispatch, technician routing, and customer scheduling in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. It is an on-site position in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, offering full-time, year-round work. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday plus one weekend day, from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dispatcher.
• Experience managing 15–20 or more technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to accurately manage a high-volume workload of 200 or more daily appointments.
• Strong proficiency in Google Maps and manual call routing.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent multitasking abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems.
• Ability to work in the office daily; remote work is not available.
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts and either Saturday or Sunday.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Northern and Southern New Jersey geography.
• Prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or call center environments; HVAC or home services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch HVAC service technicians efficiently to meet customer appointment times.
• Manage incoming service requests and schedule heating and air conditioning service calls.
• Coordinate technician routing and job assignments to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor call flow through the HVAC service platform and dispatch system.
• Communicate with technicians and customers to provide updates on service appointments.
• Support field teams by adjusting schedules and resolving routing issues.
• Maintain accurate service scheduling and ensure technicians remain productive.
