About The Position

As You Wish Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air is hiring a Dispatcher to handle customer support calls, determine customers’ needs and urgency, and assign the appropriate service technician. The Dispatcher helps customers understand services they may need, schedules technicians, communicates expected arrival timeframes, and ensures customer needs are addressed promptly and respectfully. The role keeps detailed records of calls and dispatching tasks and reports to the Call Center Manager, with a dotted line to the Install Manager. It is a 100% in-office position, scheduled Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with no on-call shifts or after-hours calls.

Requirements

• Proven customer service experience handling outbound and inbound calls.
• At least 2 years of dispatching or scheduling experience.
• Ability to engage with customers and listen carefully.
• Proficiency with basic communication technology, including phones and computers.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities
