About The Position

CBSL Transportation Services is hiring a Dispatcher/Trucking Supervisor in Pasadena, Texas. The position coordinates daily trucking operations, supervises dispatch activities, and assigns drivers and equipment to support the safe, efficient, and timely movement of customer shipments. It serves as a key communication link among drivers, customers, dispatch personnel, and management. The role combines hands-on dispatching, front-line supervision, operational problem-solving, driver accountability, and compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and applicable safety requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three or more years of transportation, trucking, or dispatch experience.
Experience coordinating drivers, routes, equipment, and customer deliveries.
Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements and hours-of-service regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize, make decisions under pressure, and lead by example.
Commitment to safety, service, and operational excellence.

Nice To Haves

Previous lead or supervisory experience.
Experience in bulk transportation, tank transportation, and ISO tank operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily trucking operations, driver assignments, routes, and schedules.
Monitor deliveries, manage changing priorities, and resolve scheduling or dispatch issues.
Supervise and support drivers and dispatch personnel while promoting accountability and teamwork.
Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly.
