About The Position

CBSL Transportation Services is hiring a Dispatcher/Trucking Supervisor in Pasadena, Texas. The role coordinates daily trucking operations, supervises dispatch activities, assigns drivers and equipment, and helps ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of customer shipments. It serves as a key communication link between drivers, customers, dispatch personnel, and management. The position combines hands-on dispatching, front-line supervision, operational problem-solving, driver accountability, and compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and applicable safety requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Three or more years of transportation, trucking, or dispatch experience.
Experience coordinating drivers, routes, equipment, and customer deliveries.
Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements and hours-of-service regulations.
Experience in bulk transportation, tank transportation, and ISO tank operations.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize, make decisions under pressure, and lead by example.
Commitment to safety, service, and operational excellence.

Previous lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily trucking operations, driver assignments, routes, and schedules.
