About The Position

As a Central Station Operator, you will efficiently handle incoming phone calls according to established procedures, with a particular focus on alarm signals and emergencies. You will promptly notify customers of alarm system activations, dispatch local law enforcement or private security when necessary, and document alarms and signals received. You will also dispatch on-call technicians to address customer issues and communicate effectively with customers throughout the process. Responding swiftly and accurately to emergencies and customer inquiries is essential to maintaining customer security and satisfaction. This position has no supervisory responsibilities and requires no travel. Candidates must pass background and drug screenings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screenings.

• Prior call center and phone experience.
