About The Position

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area. The role involves assessing customer needs and timing of deliveries, managing the daily delivery schedule for drivers, and planning deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets. The dispatcher will also receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors, provide frontline customer service for existing accounts, and handle incoming phone calls and emails promptly and courteously. Monitoring web portals for station inventories and soliciting freight from customers are also key responsibilities. The dispatcher will create loads in the dispatch system, divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members, and enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system). All employees are expected to promote positive work habits, provide constructive guidance, and contribute to providing the highest quality of products and services to customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of dispatching experience
Excellent conflict resolution and skills
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
