About The Position

The Dispatcher I takes client service calls, opens jobs, schedules and dispatches technicians for emergency, scheduled, maintenance, and service work, and verifies job times and status. The role also creates job numbers and files, reviews work orders for accuracy before they are sent to billing, and orders filters for monthly maintenance as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous HVAC industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Take client service calls and open jobs according to proper procedures.
• Check work orders for correct addresses, labor hours, numbers, dates, and other details before sending them to billing.
• Schedule calls along with previously scheduled work.
• Dispatch technicians to previously scheduled maintenance and service calls.
• Verify times and job status, including whether jobs are complete or open.
• Create job numbers and job files.
• Dispatch emergency and scheduled work.
• Order filters for monthly maintenance as needed for technician or driver pickup.
