About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing utensils, cookware, tableware, and kitchen and service areas at Parc at Traditions, a Sonida Senior Living community serving residents in independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The role also assists the cook on the serving line during meal periods and interacts courteously and respectfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Attend all in-service education programs mandated by Corporate SSL and applicable state and federal guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly clean and handle utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware, and silverware in the dishwasher area.
- Clean and sanitize tableware and cookware used in meal service and preparation.
- Clean and organize dish and storage areas as needed and directed.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of kitchen and service areas.
- Assist the cook on the serving line during meal periods.
- Interact with residents, families, staff, and visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.
- Represent the community positively at all times.
- Attend in-service education programs mandated by corporate, state, and federal guidelines.
