About The Position

The Dishwasher works in a team-oriented, fast-paced restaurant environment, supporting kitchen staff by washing and sorting dishes, maintaining a clean kitchen and floors, and completing janitorial and food-preparation tasks as needed. The role includes following health and safety regulations and completing closing activities, such as cleaning and mopping the kitchen and preparing the station for the morning shift. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. The work environment may be loud and may involve exposure to cuts, slips, trips, falls, and burns.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, stretch, and reach.
High standards of integrity and reliability.
Occasional travel may be required.
Ability to perform active work involving standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
May be required to occasionally lift products weighing up to 20 pounds.
Frequent hand washing is required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean kitchen.
Wash and sort dishes.
Prepare food as needed.
Keep floors clean throughout the shift.
Maintain health and safety regulations in the dining room and kitchen.
Complete closing activities, including cleaning and mopping the kitchen and preparing the station for the morning shift.
Empty trash receptacles and restock items as needed to support the kitchen.
