About The Position

Under the direction of the Culinary Director, the Dishwasher helps ensure a high-quality, positive dining experience for residents. The role includes washing dishes and cleaning equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, assisting with event setup and teardown, and supporting other operations as assigned by the Culinary Director and/or Executive Director.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and compassion for older adults.
• Training and experience in dietary/food service techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for residents.
• Work closely with the Culinary Director and other culinary staff.
• Clean tables, wash dishes, and perform other general and assigned cleaning tasks.
• Load and unload materials, clean equipment, and assist in all areas where assigned.
• Maintain proper water temperatures for the dishwasher.
• Manage three sinks, keeping them organized to properly clean dishes, pots, and pans.
• Maintain a clean work area, keep trash at an acceptable level, and remove it when necessary.
• Assist with event setup and teardown as directed.
• Assist in other operations as needed and perform other duties assigned by the Culinary Director and/or Executive Director.
