About The Position

Bloomingdale’s is seeking an experienced Utility Person/Dishwasher to support its restaurant team and help deliver an outstanding experience to upscale clientele. The role includes operating the commercial dishwashing unit, maintaining kitchen and restaurant cleanliness, and organizing and restocking supplies. Hourly associates may be eligible for a quarterly bonus incentive, colleague discounts, and opportunities to be part of an iconic brand; certain criteria apply to the quarterly bonus incentive.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
Ability to work as part of a team in a learning environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, extended hours, and key event days.
General knowledge of cleaning procedures.

Prior restaurant or kitchen industry experience.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and break down a commercial dishwashing unit.
Wash pots and pans as needed.
Restock and maintain areas for china, silver, and small-wares.
Properly clean and close the kitchen at the end of the day.
Clean the restaurant and work station.
Set up the beverage station daily.
Stock and organize supplies.
