About The Position

The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. This is a full-time position at Empower in Greenwood Village, Colorado, scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Previous steward experience is required. The pay range is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or load them into racks or a dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
• Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
• Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
