About The Position

Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group, is hiring a full-time Dishwasher in Kirkland, Washington. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The fixed pay rate is $29.30 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary; further details are provided during the interview. Applicants must have a valid Food Handler's card. Requirements

Must have a valid Food Handler's card.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Use medium-weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, or mandolins, or when cleaning a slicer.
Use oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers, or steam tables.
Use slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine, as assigned.
Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
Follow outlined safety procedures.
Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Help load and unload supplies and product.
Perform other duties as assigned.
