About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for washing designated restaurant and kitchen wares and maintaining dishwashing equipment and surrounding areas in accordance with hotel specifications and standards. The role requires adherence to state sanitation and health regulations, OSHA requirements, and hotel policies. The employee must use equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals correctly and safely. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine according to hotel specifications and standards to wash designated restaurant and kitchen wares.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment and the areas associated with it.
• Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Follow state sanitation and health regulations and hotel requirements.
• Use equipment and tools only as intended, properly, and safely.
• Use the correct cleaning chemicals for designated items in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of the correct maintenance and use of equipment.
