About The Position
LCB Senior Living is hiring a part-time Dishwasher at The Residence at Stafford in Stafford, New Jersey. The dishwasher maintains clean and orderly kitchen and dining areas by washing, cleaning, sanitizing, and storing dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and other equipment. The role also includes cleaning floors and equipment and supporting chefs, servers, food orders, and dining events. The listed wage range is $16.00–$17.50 per hour, based on years of experience. The position helps provide a restaurant-style dining atmosphere for residents while maintaining safe, sanitary conditions and following cleaning schedules, quality standards, and food-safety practices. The dishwasher may communicate residents’ food preferences to dining leadership to support menu planning and resident satisfaction.
Requirements

- Ability to resolve problems involving dissatisfied customers and/or associates.
- Ability to build positive, strong relationships with associates, coworkers, and residents.
- Focus on and dedication to excellent customer service.
- Ability to handle multiple jobs and priorities.
- Education: Less than high school.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
- Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
- Wash and store dishes and equipment according to policies and procedures.
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and empty trash.
- Help put away food orders and store them appropriately.
- Assist chefs and servers as assigned.
- Assist with preparing and carrying out special events, banquets, and themed meals or parties.
- Follow cleaning schedules as directed by the Culinary Services Director.
- Follow Quality Enhancement standards and standard food-safety practices.
- Clean and sanitize carpets, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and dining-room equipment.
- Communicate residents’ likes and dislikes to the food service director and/or dining room manager for menu planning and resident satisfaction.
