About The Position

LCB Senior Living is hiring a Dishwasher at The Residence at Brookside in Avon, Connecticut. The role supports a restaurant-style dining atmosphere for residents by maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining room, washing and storing dishes and equipment, and assisting with food service tasks and special events. The position is offered full-time and part-time, with an hourly wage of $17.50–$18.50 based on years of experience. Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Wash and store dishes and equipment in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Keep floors clean by sweeping, mopping, and washing, and empty trash.
• Assist with putting away food orders and storing them appropriately.
• Assist chefs and servers as assigned.
• Assist with preparing and executing special events, banquets, and theme meals or parties.
• Follow cleaning schedules as directed by the Culinary Services Director.
• Follow Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and dining-room equipment.
• Communicate residents' likes and dislikes to the food service director and/or dining room manager for menu planning and resident satisfaction.
