About The Position

The Dishwasher at the Inn at Bellefield Residence Inn operates the dishwashing machine to clean restaurant and kitchen wares, washes pots, pans, and other utensils and equipment, and cleans and maintains dishwashing equipment and designated areas. The role follows hotel operating standards and state sanitation and health regulations. It requires correct and safe use of equipment and tools, appropriate handling of cleaning chemicals, and the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Requirements

• Ability to count.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with management and co-workers so they understand.
• Physical strength and stamina to stand for long hours and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine according to hotel specifications and standards to wash designated restaurant and kitchen wares.
• Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment and associated areas.
• Follow state sanitation and health regulations and hotel requirements.
• Use equipment and tools only as intended and in a proper and safe manner.
• Use the correct cleaning chemicals for designated items in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
