About The Position

Sandia Vista Senior Living is seeking a dedicated, organized Dishwasher to work in its senior living community. The role supports dining service by clearing soiled dishes and flatware, washing and restocking items, wiping tables, preparing room trays, and delivering trays to residents’ rooms. The Dishwasher also cleans kitchen equipment and appliances, removes kitchen trash, and performs other duties as needed. The position is available part-time or full-time, with flexible schedules. The employer describes the community as an active environment serving residents and their families. A Food Handlers certificate must be obtained.

Requirements

Minimal working experience.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
Willingness to comply with food safety procedures.
Willingness to obtain a Food Handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

Bus tables and wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure clean items are available.
Wipe down dining room tables.
Prepare the kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
Clean kitchen machines and appliances, including coffee makers, mixers, pots, and pans.
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor three times per shift.
Prepare room trays and deliver them to residents’ rooms.
Empty trash from kitchen receptacles and perform other duties as needed.
