About The Position

Sandia Vista Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and organized Dishwasher to support dining services in a senior living community. The role includes clearing soiled plates and flatware from tables, washing dishes and kitchenware, wiping down dining tables, restocking clean items, preparing room trays, and delivering trays to residents’ rooms. The Dishwasher also cleans kitchen appliances and machines, empties kitchen receptacles, and performs other duties as needed. The position offers part-time and full-time schedules, flexible scheduling, free meals each shift, on-demand pay, and opportunities for advancement. Requirements

Minimal working experience.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
Willingness to comply with food safety procedures.
Willingness to obtain a Food Handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

Bus tables and wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure clean items are available.
Wipe down dining room tables.
Prepare the kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
Clean kitchen machines and appliances, including coffee makers, mixers, pots, and pans.
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor three times per shift.
Restock washed items in the dining room.
Help prepare room trays and deliver them to residents’ rooms.
Empty trash from kitchen receptacles and perform other duties as needed.
