About The Position

The Dishwasher cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet safe food-preparation standards. The role supports the kitchen team by storing clean dishes and equipment appropriately and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment. Duties also include maintaining cleaning schedules, sweeping and mopping, wiping surfaces, and emptying and cleaning trash and recycling receptacles while separating waste properly. The Dishwasher follows company policies and procedures and may perform other tasks as necessary.

The position promotes an inclusive and supportive team environment and contributes to sustainability, conservation, and community-engagement efforts. The role requires standing for extended periods and keeping pace in the dish area while following sanitation protocols, including appropriate use of dish liquid and MSDS guidance.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to keep up with dish volume and organize the dish area as required by the business.
• Knowledge of MSDS and active adherence to cleanliness practices and dish-liquid-use protocols.
• Ability to uphold sanitation requirements and help provide a clean, welcoming experience for guests.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced dish pit environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet safe food-preparation standards.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles, ensuring proper waste separation.
• Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
• Follow and demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive approach within the Brand team and across units.
• Support sustainability and conservation efforts and share relevant knowledge with unit staff as appropriate.
• Engage with SSA and the unit in community activities and opportunities to give back.
