About The Position

The Dishwasher cleans and sanitizes dishes and kitchen equipment to support safe food preparation and a clean, welcoming guest experience. The role works with the kitchen team to store dishes and equipment properly and maintain an organized, sanitary kitchen. Duties also include cleaning floors and surfaces, managing trash and recycling, and completing scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks. The position promotes an inclusive and supportive team environment and contributes to sustainability, conservation, and community engagement efforts. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to keep dishes moving and organize the dish area according to business needs.
• Knowledge of MSDS and active practice of cleanliness in the dish area while following dish-liquid protocols.
• Commitment to presenting a clean and welcoming experience for guests by upholding sanitation requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced dish pit environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans, to meet safe food-preparation standards.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles, ensuring proper waste separation.
• Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
• Uphold and demonstrate an understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive approach within the Brand team and across units.
• Support efforts to remove barriers and empower growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
• Lead by example in sustainability and conservation efforts, and share relevant knowledge with unit staff as appropriate.
• Engage with SSA and the unit in community activities and opportunities to give back.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
