About The Position

SSA Group is seeking a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations at its cultural-attraction hospitality locations. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and helping ensure equipment is stored properly and sanitation standards are upheld. The Dishwasher also supports inclusive team practices and sustainability and community-engagement efforts. Previous experience is not required; experience in a fast-paced dish pit is preferred.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to keep up with dishes and organize the work area as business needs require.
• Knowledge of MSDS and active cleanliness practices in the dish area, including following protocols for dish liquid use.
• Maintain sanitation requirements to help present a clean and welcoming experience for guests.
• Previous experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans, to meet safe food-preparation standards.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste separation.
• Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
• Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Perform other tasks as necessary.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive approach within the Brand team and across units.
• Support efforts to remove barriers and empower growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
• Lead by example in sustainability and conservation efforts, apply relevant practices in the business, and provide teaching opportunities to unit staff as needed.
• Engage with SSA and the unit in community activities and opportunities to give back.
