About The Position

The Dishwasher cleans and sanitizes dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans, to support safe food preparation. The role works with the kitchen team to store dishes and equipment properly and maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dish area. Duties include sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, managing trash and recycling, and completing scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks. The Dishwasher follows company policies and procedures and may perform other tasks as needed. The role also supports an inclusive, growth-oriented team environment and participates in sustainability, conservation, and community engagement efforts.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to keep dishes moving and organize the dish area as business needs require.
• Knowledge of MSDS and ability to follow dish-liquid use protocols while maintaining cleanliness in the dish area.
• Ability to uphold sanitation requirements and help present a clean, welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans, to meet safe food-preparation standards.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste separation.
• Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
• Follow and demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive approach within the Brand team and across units.
• Help remove barriers and empower growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
• Lead by example in sustainability and conservation efforts, and share relevant knowledge with unit staff as needed.
• Engage with SSA and the unit in community activities and opportunities to give back.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
