About The Position

This is a seasonal role for a Dishwasher/Prep Cook at the Crystal Mountain Hotel. The position involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness, stocking supplies, washing dishes, and assisting with food preparation. Requirements

• 1+ years' previous culinary team experience preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to keep things neat and organized with an eye for detail.
• Frequent bending, reaching overhead, and squatting.
• Lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
• Pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Remaining on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a moderate to occasionally loud noise level environment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
• Bussing tables and keeping the kitchen stocked.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping floors.
• Sanitizing countertops and cooking surfaces.
• Wiping down and sanitizing wash basins and prep sinks.
• Emptying and cleaning trash containers and picking up litter around the property.
• Taking kitchen inventory and reporting low-stock items and repair needs to the Head Chef.
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading dishes, and putting them away.
• Interacting with guests, answering questions, and providing information about property amenities and local recommendations.
• Prepping food on the line as needed.
• Performing other duties or special projects as assigned.
