The Bartender is responsible for greeting guests, taking food and drink orders, and ensuring efficient and professional service. This role requires a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with dietary needs and suggestions. The Bartender will communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and address special requests. Prompt delivery of food and drinks, adherence to safe food handling and alcohol service standards, and effective complaint resolution are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the Bartender will operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, manage cash handling and tip pooling, and maintain the cleanliness and setup of the bar area. This role may also involve operating various equipment and assisting with bussing tables during slower periods. Bartenders are expected to be knowledgeable about property amenities and local recommendations to enhance the guest experience. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
