About The Position

The Dish position at ACGBBQ, LLC., a licensed franchisee of Sonny’s BBQ, helps provide guests with a memorable experience by maintaining clean dishes, work areas, and an inviting restaurant atmosphere. The role involves operating the dish machine, cleaning kitchen equipment and facilities, and following sanitation regulations and system standards. Dishwashers work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction and movement, and may perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Related restaurant industry experience and/or training.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
Dependability and ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
Ability to attend and successfully complete required ongoing training or certification programs.
Ability to communicate effectively with the team, including speaking and listening.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job for up to an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and work cooperatively with other staff.
Keep the workstation clean and operate the dish machine using proper chemical levels.
Follow sanitation regulations and system standards.
Bus, sort, rinse, and rack dishes; wash pots and pans after each use.
Empty trash cans and keep the dumpster area clean.
Place silverware in appropriate storage areas and keep the kitchen supplied with clean dishes.
Keep floors, work areas, restrooms, and the parking area clean and free of trash.
Clean restrooms regularly and help maintain a clean, inviting atmosphere for guests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
