About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Dish Steward to work in a restaurant setting. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans; maintaining the dish room and dish machine; removing garbage; and keeping dish and storage areas clean and organized. The Dish Steward may also assist with cleaning other restaurant areas and perform other assigned duties. This position is tipped eligible. The hiring process may include interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots.
• Maintain the dish room and dish machine.
• Restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Remove garbage.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift.
• Keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
