About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Dish Steward for Hotel Alba Tampa. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots; maintaining the dish room and dish machine; restocking kitchenware; and keeping dish and storage areas clean and organized. The Dish Steward also removes garbage, cleans and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of the shift, assists with cleaning other restaurant areas as requested, and performs other duties as assigned. Hiring may include a phone interview, manager interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is required.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots.
Maintain the dish room and dish machine.

Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift.
Keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized.
Assist with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
