About The Position

The Dish Attendant supports the restaurant’s dishwashing operation and helps maintain clean, organized dishwashing and storage areas. The role involves handling dirty and clean dishes, washing cookware, removing garbage, and setting up or breaking down the dishwashing area. The position is part-time and offers flexible schedules, including Float Pool opportunities.

Requirements

Obtain a Food Handler Certificate before the first day of work.
Listen, read, write, and speak English fluently for job-related circumstances.
Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using all units of measure.
Have practical problem-solving skills.
Frequently stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
Regularly reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils, then place them in racks for the dish machine.
Sort and stack clean dishes.
Carry clean dishes to the service line and appropriate storage areas.
Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.
Set up or break down the dishwashing area.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station.
Complete other duties as assigned.
