About The Position

Shipfusion is seeking a highly motivated leader to launch and lead its new fulfillment centre and operations team in Irving, Texas. The Director of Southern Operations will help enhance and execute eCommerce and wholesale fulfillment processes, build and lead a team, and drive operational efficiency at the new facility. The role includes responsibility for facility performance, client expectations, workplace safety, and the facility P&L budget.

Requirements

5–10 years of direct operational leadership experience, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment environment.
Self-motivated, flexible, and resilient leadership capabilities, with strong team-building skills.
Ability to manage large-scale and complex logistical projects.
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-oriented startup culture.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong knowledge of technology and ability to learn a proprietary WMS.

Facility startup experience with project management.

Responsibilities

Start up and lead the Irving fulfillment centre operation, achieve KPIs, and design or improve processes to increase operational efficiency.
Work with the HR team to hire and develop onsite leadership and fulfillment staff.
Work with the Senior Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Client Services to ensure the warehouse executes operational goals and initiatives.
Coordinate with the Client Services team to ensure warehouse operations consistently meet client expectations.
Work with Support and Account Management teams to ensure deliverables are achieved.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Manage the facility P&L budget.
