About The Position

Provides innovative leadership to maximize the entity's contribution to overall corporation performance through effective planning and the management of human and financial goals. Ensures the entity contributes to the corporation's mission and goals by planning, organizing, and supervising the overall operation of the Therapies department. Plans, organizes, markets, and directs BMHUC Rehabilitation Services and is responsible for the quality and quantity of care provided to Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab by staff.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
• Computer knowledge.
• Licensure in physical, occupational, or speech therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Master's or doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and markets services that meet identified internal and external customer needs by evaluating and assessing customer needs and expectations and developing improvement plans with measurable goals.
• Leads by example and through interaction with staff, facilitating company vision and values and communicating policies and goals to enhance employee skills, management, and leadership.
• Directs overall operational management by assessing departmental operations and interacting with staff and customers to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Provides orientation, training, and ongoing education for new and existing staff.
• Manages the financial and budgetary performance of assigned areas by evaluating products and services, analyzing departmental operations, implementing workload standards, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, enhancing profitability, and optimizing resource use.
• Facilitates customer satisfaction by communicating and interacting with key internal and external customers to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Performs the principal accountabilities and responsibilities of a staff therapist as required.
• Performs related accountabilities and responsibilities as required or directed.
