About The Position

Adara Living is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation Services for its privately owned, 200+ patient long-term care facility in Broomfield, Colorado. The position oversees rehabilitation services, including acute Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. The Director oversees, directs, and coordinates the department’s day-to-day operations and programs, delivering cost-effective, quality services that meet the needs of patients, physicians, clinical teams, and staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy, with a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree.
• Current license in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assume ultimate responsibility for rehabilitation service operations.
• Ensure service and operational excellence across assigned activities and the delivery of quality services and outcomes.
• Review the quality and appropriateness of services and individual therapy programs for effectiveness and efficiency using predetermined criteria.
• Oversee the development of high-quality, cost-effective clinical programs.
• Manage all aspects of service-line programs and activities, including program development, patient satisfaction, and performance improvement.
• Develop and foster effective collaboration between facility departments and clinical staff leadership.
• Work through the management team and clinical staff leadership to reduce costs, enhance revenues, increase patient satisfaction, achieve utilization and quality goals, and use information to support management decisions.
• Establish policies and procedures to comply with regulations and monitor compliance.
• Develop and maintain staffing plans based on volumes, patient acuity, anticipated workload, skill mix, and competency requirements.
• Provide leadership support to Rehabilitation Service directors and therapists through resources, tools, education, and training.
• Oversee preparation of rehabilitation services for licensure certification surveys.
