Director, Real Estate AI

Cyberhill Partners•Austin, TX

About The Position

The Director, Real Estate AI validates and defines a real estate domain offering, establishing the buyer, problem, supporting evidence, and competitive position. The role determines whether the domain should proceed through a written go/no-go decision, authors the offering’s point of view and product definition, and creates reusable intellectual property for Sales, Marketing, and post-sales teams. The Director owns a 90-day domain plan and ongoing priorities, including the thesis to test, partner capacity, and stage sequencing. The role defines demonstration requirements, including what the demonstration must prove, scenarios and data, buyer journey, and acceptance criteria for Engineering and Ontology. The Director accepts and runs the demonstration, leads launch stages through written gates, reports status weekly, and hands the offering to Delivery with a reference architecture, engagement pattern, and best-practice guide. Working with Marketing and Sales, the Director shapes go-to-market positioning, buyer personas, and enablement content; trains Sales and solution consultants; builds a domain target list and pipeline; and supports qualification as the domain expert. The Director contributes domain expertise and an ideal-state solution alongside Ontology and Engineering, presents to executives when requested by the engagement lead, and helps clients consider opportunities beyond their initial request. After clients are in production, the Director stays engaged with accounts in the domain, identifies patterns with Delivery, Customer Success, and Support, and feeds insights into the thesis, product definition, methodology, and demonstration. The role balances installed-base stability and retention with new capabilities, supports adoption and retention, guides safe changes and migrations, and maintains the domain content and maturity lens in the engagement methodology.

Requirements

  • Experience in or advising the domain at a level that has shaped outcomes and supports peer-level conversations with executive buyers.
  • Consulting or value-advisory experience achieving strategic objectives through technology, including contributing as a domain expert within a structured engagement methodology.
  • Product or offering management skills, including defining requirements, prioritizing what gets built, and managing an offering after launch based on client feedback and results.
  • Working literacy in applied AI and data solutions sufficient to shape an offering, write requirements engineers can build to, and run and explain a demonstration to a buyer; this is not an engineering role.
  • Deep understanding of the operating metrics that drive the domain and the implications of changes in those metrics.
  • A record of published or presented thought leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience launching a new offering, practice, or product line from validation through first clients and managing it after clients are live.
  • Familiarity with knowledge graph, ontology, or semantic data approaches and where they outperform conventional analytics.
  • For healthcare domains, familiarity with healthcare data standards and privacy obligations.
  • For workforce domains, familiarity with hire-to-retire processes, core HCM platforms, and the data they contain.

Responsibilities

  • Validate the real estate domain by establishing the buyer, problem, evidence, and competitive position, then clear the first gate or deliver a written no-go.
  • Define the offering by authoring its point of view, product definition, and reusable intellectual property for Sales, Marketing, and post-sales teams.
  • Own and maintain the domain plan and priorities, including a 90-day plan, thesis, partner capacity, stage sequence and timing, and ongoing offering trade-offs.
  • Specify demonstration requirements, scenarios, data, buyer journey, and acceptance criteria for Engineering and Ontology; accept and run the demonstration.
  • Take each launch stage to a written gate, report stage-level status weekly, and identify improvements to the launch process.
  • Hand the offering into Delivery with a reference architecture, engagement pattern, best-practice guide, and final launch-gate approval.
  • Build go-to-market positioning, buyer personas, and enablement content with Marketing and Sales, and confirm Sales can explain the offering unaided.
  • Train Sales and solution consultants on the demonstration, refresh it as the offering changes, and collect prospect and customer feedback.
  • Co-author the domain target list with Sales, including new-client acquisition targets, and source and develop leads until a Sales owner is named.
  • Support qualification as the domain expert by providing the thesis, evidence, maturity placement, and domain perspective through the engagement methodology.
  • Contribute to ideal-state solutions with Ontology and Engineering, present the domain case to executives when requested by the engagement lead, and challenge clients and engagement leads to look beyond the initial ask.
  • Stay engaged in customer channels for accounts in the domain and work with Delivery, Customer Success, and Support to identify patterns across accounts and feed them into the thesis, product definition, methodology, and demonstration.
  • Balance improvements and fixes for live clients against new capabilities, agreeing with Engineering and Ontology on capacity for each.
  • Track client adoption and use, support retention and expansion conversations, and ensure offering changes are communicated to live clients with migration guidance that avoids production disruption.
  • Own and maintain the domain content and readiness or maturity lens in the engagement methodology.
