About The Position

CSG Investments, Inc. is headquartered in Plano, Texas, near Dallas, and provides flexible capital solutions to commercial and industrial customers across a broad range of industries. The Managing Director leads and actively participates in a team’s efforts to originate, underwrite, structure, and close lending opportunities within a designated business sector, drawing on deep industry knowledge and expertise. The position is based on-site at CSG’s headquarters in Plano, Texas. CSG Capital Investments describes itself as an alternative investment manager with experience across multiple asset classes and market cycles. It provides advisory and transaction services for Beal Bank and emphasizes engagement, collaboration, and developing commercial solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
15+ years of direct lending experience; bilateral loan experience preferred.
Good management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good research and quantitative skills, with the ability to reach conclusions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Performance-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented approach.
Proven track record.
Excellent financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and accounting skills.
Proficiency with Excel.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Bilateral loan experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage investment teams across multiple simultaneous transactions.
Analyze, perform due diligence on, structure, document, negotiate, and close deals.
Develop independent views on value and understand how the business cycle affects value.
Manage deal processes and coordinate interactions with counterparties, consultants, advisors, lawyers, and other outside parties.
Prepare presentations and materials for senior management and committee review.
Present transactions to senior management and the loan committee for review and approval.
Coordinate with internal groups to monitor existing investments and loans.
Contribute effectively as part of the Bank’s Senior Management Team toward the Company’s overall goals.
Train and develop team members.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
