About The Position

The Director on Pfizer’s US Market Access (USMA) Market Access Execution (MAX) Pricing & Insights team serves as the business lead for USMA’s market access analytic ecosystem, enterprise lead for curated payer coverage data, and business liaison to central and strategic data functions across Commercial. The role translates MAX leaders’ priorities into delivered capabilities, including day-to-day management of strategic market access data assets and pre- and post-deal analytics and the Contract Decision Support platform. It partners closely with Pfizer Solution Delivery and Operations and external implementation vendors. These capabilities support USMA strategy and contract decisions that inform substantial cost concessions across Pfizer’s portfolio. The Director sets direction for curated payer coverage data, such as MMIT and Policy Reporter, by defining use cases, business rules, standards, and consistent processes for data selection and use. The role drives alignment and accountability among suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain an accurate understanding of payer formulary and policy coverage. It also represents MAX with central and strategic Commercial data organizations, helping extend curated syndicated data assets to appropriate enterprise use cases while maintaining data integrity, licensing, and compliance requirements. The position focuses on setting direction, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring delivery across ongoing projects. It requires advanced knowledge of the US payer environment and the analytics and data used in market access decisions. The Director safeguards curated data quality and appropriate use, maximizes value from third-party data investments, reduces duplicative requests and conflicting interpretations, and ensures market access perspectives are reflected in enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives. The position is hybrid, with onsite work required 2 to 3 days per week, and limited travel to Pfizer sites and vendor or supplier meetings (approximately 10% of the time).
