About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Director of Wellness for The Barclay at Little River. The role leads the daily operations of the wellness (nursing care) department and supervises nursing and personal care staff responsible for resident well-being and care. The Director assesses residents’ health, functional, and psychosocial status and proactively manages their care, promotes superior care and service excellence, and ensures the community meets applicable federal and state requirements. Requirements

Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
Current state LPN license as required by state regulations.
Three years of nursing experience.
Two years of supervisory experience.
Experience hiring staff, managing budgets, and managing schedules.
Current CPR certification.
Must be flexible and prepared to assist on a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or university.
Current First Aid certification.
Experience in assisted living or long-term care.
Experience in dementia care.
