About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Director of Wellness for The Barclay at Little River. The role leads the wellness (Nursing Care) department in a senior living community, overseeing daily operations and nursing and personal care staff. The Director assesses residents’ health, functional, and psychosocial status and proactively manages their care, while ensuring high-quality service and compliance with applicable federal and state requirements. The position requires flexibility to assist across shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Current state LPN license as required by state regulations.
• Three years of nursing experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience hiring staff, managing budgets, and managing schedules.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexibility to assist on a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or university.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care.
• Experience in dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective and efficient daily operations within the wellness (Nursing Care) department.
• Directly supervise nursing and personal care staff in managing resident well-being and care.
• Assess residents’ health, functional, and psychosocial status and proactively manage their care.
• Ensure superior care and promote service excellence.
