About the position
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Leader with a focus on New Business to join our team. As the Director of the Enterprise Sales Team, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of New Business Account Executives. Your main objective will be to break into new accounts, generate interest in our company, and ultimately secure new business. Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Customer Success, you will also play a key role in recruiting and hiring new Account Executives, implementing sales strategies, and developing field sales skills. With a strong background in software sales and front-line sales leadership, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Manage a growing team of new business Enterprise Account Executives who manage the entire lifecycle of a sale, from prospecting to signature.
- Recruit and hire new business Account Executives.
- Help implement, improve and reinforce our solutions-selling playbook.
- Help Account Executives prospect into new accounts, get Quiq prioritized in the stack of potential projects, and support tactical deal execution from first discovery meeting through to close.
- Develop and test new tactics for shortening sales cycles.
- Create and implement a repeatable sales motion across retail, travel, CPG and Financial Services.
- Lead the team in developing field sales skills.
Requirements
- High-energy, driven, results-oriented Sales Leader
- Experience building and managing New Business teams for the enterprise
- Experience managing a growing team of new business Enterprise Account Executives
- Ability to recruit and hire new business Account Executives
- Knowledge of implementing, improving, and reinforcing solutions-selling playbook
- Ability to help Account Executives prospect into new accounts and support tactical deal execution
- Experience in developing and testing new tactics for shortening sales cycles
- Ability to create and implement a repeatable sales motion across retail, travel, CPG, and Financial Services
- Experience in developing field sales skills
- A decade or more of software sales experience
- 3+ years of experience in front-line sales leadership
- Experience selling into Commercial and Enterprise Accounts
- Experience as an SDR/BDR
- Experience successfully implementing solutions-based selling to win business with cold prospects
- Experience selling software products with limited brand awareness
- Track record of success in sales leadership roles
